A Message from Guild Master Bill Huva

Hello Guild Judges!

I would like to extend my congratulations and welcome to all the attendees of the BC Guild of Wine Judges course.  It is a tremendous introduction to appreciating the many aspects of wine, its crafting and analysis.

Judging and appreciating wine is an ongoing journey.  The schedule of the monthly tasting and education sessions for the Guild is posted on the website BCGWJ.CA.  In Vancouver and Victoria, it is typically held on the third Wednesday of the month while Nanaimo is the second Sunday.  We hope to see you all there.
A very special thanks goes out to the organizers and presenters of this course, Rick and Mary Homer and Axel Kroitzsch.  They put in an enormous amount of work to put this together.  Not only did they write the course but Rick and Mary also had to create the list of wines, all 80, then buy them, organize and package them ready for each day’s session.  Then stand up each day and present all that information in an understandable and digestible manner.  A huge display of talent and effort.
Again, thank you all for attending and thank you to Rick, Mary and Axel.
