Date and Location set for 2018 AGM

Dear Guild Members,

The purpose of this e-mail is to confirm to you the date / location for the BC Guild Of Wine Judges Tasting and AGM (in Victoria) will be:

SUNDAY – JUNE 10, 2018

GOWARD HOUSE
2495 ARBUTUS ROAD

VICTORIA BC

Arrive at Goward House by:                        9:00 am

Champagne/Sparkling Wine Tasting        9:15 am start time

Lunch (provided)                                             12:00 noon

AGM:                                                                    12:30 pm

 

VICTORIA CHAPTER MEMBERS:                 8:30 am (to help with set up)

 

All three Chapters are invited to participate and I ask that you please mark this date on your 2018 calendars and plan to attend.

Welcome to the New Site for the BC Guild of Wine Judges

It has been a long journey, but our new site is now ready.  There are still a lot of bugs to fix, so currently this is more of a ‘beta’ version.  I am making changes to it all the time, so you may notice differences from day to day.  The basics are here – this months tasting notes and our new schedule, so please spend some time exploring it and let me know of any problems you encounter.  Let me know what you like and don’t like about it.  Most importantly, I hope everything is easy to find.

The site is intended to be viewed by the public as well as the members in our chapters.  Two pages are password protected – the chapter membership lists and our ‘stats’ page.  You will receive the correct password via email shortly.

Don’t forget, the guild also has a Facebook page that has lots of interesting articles, videos and quizzes.  Check the “Resources’ page for the link.
