What is your most memorable wine or wine and food experience?
I enjoyed a bottle of Red Bordeaux with a perfectly grilled ribeye steak. Its deep ruby hue, accompanied by aromas of dark berries, black cherry, and subtle hints of cedar, captivated me. The tannins beautifully complemented the richness of the steak.
What wines have you always wanted to try but haven’t? What is you favorite vineyard? Region?
My favorite wine is Bordeaux, but there are a few other varieties I’ve always wanted to try, such as Barolo from Italy and high-quality wines from the Burgundy region, particularly some exquisite Pinot Noirs. As for my favorite vineyard, I’m particularly enamored with Château Margaux due to its renowned elegance and complexity. The Bordeaux region, with its rich history and diverse terroir, remains my top choice for wine appreciation.
What event or experience started your journey in wine?
I was amazed by how wine transformed the flavors of the food and enhanced conversations among friends and family. This experience sparked my curiosity and prompted me to explore various regions, varietals, and winemaking techniques to deepen my appreciation for wine. Since then, I’ve attended tastings and classes.
