What event or experience started your journey in wine?
Dinner with my University girlfriend for her birthday. Most prestigious restaurant in the college town I was in. First meal with pairings. Most memorable dish, Coquilles St. Jacques, paired with Bourgogne Aligote. First experience where the wine invited a taste of the food and the food invited the wine.
