What is your most memorable wine or wine and food experience?
My most memorable is going to Zanata Winery for a long-table dinner with friends and enjoying great wine and great food in the heat of the sun and a beautiful warm evening. It was amazing.
What wines have you always wanted to try but haven’t?
I’m not sure about this question because I’ve been trying many different types of wines for many years now. I love experimenting and experiencing culinary and wine events.
What is your favorite vineyard or wine region?
I love Argentinian wines and Spanish wines and, living in BC, I do enjoy a lot of of BC wines. However, I’d love to visit the wineries in Argentina and Spain.
What event or experience started your journey in wine?
What started my experience in wine was trying different wines with my partner Wallace. As a chef, I joined the Canadian Culinary Association where we tried many different wines with different foods and then Wallace and I would do the same at home when hosting dinners for friends; that was almost 20 years ago now.
